Walk of Honor Program

The trustees of Post 490 are sponsoring a program to build brick walkway at the post to the fire pit, with laser engraved bricks in honor of veterans that may have made some impact in your life. The brochure posted below has all the details.

Judge Advocate, Chaplin, E. C. 1, Sgt. Of Arms and Historian If you are interested please contact the Commander or the Adjutant. Commander Johnny Lundstrum commander@legion490.com Adjutant John Cronin adjutant@legion490.com Wreaths Across America is December 14th at Houston National Cemetery. Program starts at 11. If you want to carpool/ caravan out there please be at the post at 9:00 AM.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

All the presents must be at the post by the 11th of Dec. with the name of the child and the ornament. If you would like to get a toy come to the Post and grab an ornament of the tree in the club room. I have to say I was really proud of this post we are helping over 100 children this year. The chair for Children and Youth also ask if anyone can donate socks and underwear for kids (age 4-18), Blankets and toiletries. God Bless Also the Scholarship application are out in the club room for the coming year. We also have a chair for the Baseball Committee and we need your support to get the paperwork completed by 31 of Jan. Thank you all and remember the Post is only as active as the members.
